@dakhabrakha at the @acedtla - My return to packed theaters came with the piercing cries from Ukraine, mixed with ancient folk vocals and drums of resistance and resilience. The music of Ukrainian band @dakhabrakha put sounds of hope and humanity to the horrors from today’s Ukraine. My great grandparents fled both to Ukraine and from Ukraine, my grandparents fled a murderous dictator back to Ukraine, and were deported to Siberia by another - all I truly know is that this music touches me deeply.
