i started going back to the therapist i had in san francisco and it's ltrly divine. after not seeing each other in 4+ years, our zoom screen pops up and he goes "AND THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER." catching him up on what's happened during the most wild season of my life was absolutely wild. he knew me in my previous chapter - in a different city, relationship, job, headspace, life. and now i have so much new, but the comfy kinda new that feels eternally old and comfy - like it always was. we talked all about cam and how we met and why we said forever. i love how he talks about marriage. the ceremony doesn't make the commitment -- the commitment makes the ceremony. marriage is celebrating something that already is, as it is today, as it was enough to make the decision. on behalf of the band, i can proudly say we're *overjoyed* to be reunited.
