She has one of those faces that looks gorgeous with little to no makeup, and she was afraid to look like a completely different person. But it was because of that, that I wanted to show another perspective on her, and I knew that going with heavy glam on her would look amazing. As Victor started adding colour to her face and then seeing the long, red nails I had prepared for her, she looked at me with a worrisome expression. It wasn’t until I did the first lighting test and showed it to her that she was all in. She not only agreed to it, she absolutely loved it. In fact, she even noticed that we needed to add MORE makeup. “Mola mucho”, she said. It was also the first time I worked with DaVian, who shares with me (and understands) the obsession with a full glam look. That’s why this became one of my favourites Vogue Beauty Cover to this day.
