Me and the Pink Ladies 💗💖💗 Today is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness day! My previous post has a lot of statistics about the the disparity between education and resources that directly leads to higher infection rates for Black people, especially Black men who have sex with men. I know that some of these statistics can be upsetting and daunting and make you feel powerless but don’t let it!! We have the power inside all of us to be able to make change in every aspect of this life and that includes HIV/AIDS prevention. It can be as simple as getting regularly tested, passing along accurate information whenever possible or simply using your platform to encourage others to do so! With our powers combined, I know we can make great things happen!
