We’ve chosen to use London Plane timber for our @atelier100official design. It feels typically English to have named a tree whose origins are not from London or even the UK as ‘London Plane’ but for anyone roaming the pavements it is impossible not to fall for the gentle giants. The trees were originally brought to London in the late 18th century for their large canopies to create areas of shade but life is full of surprises, we will use the timber to suspend a porcelain bulb for our light. 💡💡💡🌳🌳🌳
