Had the immense privilege to collab on a styled doc project with @titwillo and their amazing team of subjects. Excited to share a few frames of their production design process. Part of our “show bible” was to avoid any BTS style coverage where you might typically see a photographer taking photos of subjects on location. We wanted a viewer to feel like they are actually experiencing the final images and to us, the former approach felt like watching a photo shoot from the outside. Instead we show their involved production design process and interpreted the final imagery through a motion/film idiom.
