Therapy talk ⬇️ It’s so easy to feel a lift in our emotional and cognitive state and think therapy isn’t necessary anymore. For some of us, that might be true. For others of us, our mental health is something that needs consistent work. When I began therapy, I went every week. It was expensive and time consuming, but at the time, it was what I needed and my mental health was worth it. Now, I’m considering therapy as “maintenance work.” A way for me to continually check in on my mental health, correct distorted thinking, disrupt self-limiting patterns, and break bad routines and habits. Wherever you are on your mental health journey - whether you are just now thinking therapy might be good for you if are in a state of feeling healed - you are worth investing in yourself. #therapy #mentalhealth #anxiety #depression
