A Howard University graduate, Sheila began her career in corporate America, but after a few years, she started her own communications firm, Orchid Communications, where she represented greats such as Janet Jackson, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, The O’Jays, Ice T, En Vogue, Phyllis Hyman, Yolanda Adams and more. Orchid Communications expanded its services to target corporate brands and sponsorship thus rebranding the firm today as Miles Ahead Entertainment & Broadcasting (MAEB). MAEB is the home to the nationally syndicated hit radio show @cafemocharadio which stars co-hosts Loni Love, Yoyo and Angelique Perrin. Fun Fact: ONE35 Founder @shantebacon interned for Sheila during her time at Priority Records. Shante credits Sheila for demonstrating wisdom and work ethic as Shante navigated the music industry. Ms. Eldridge is a strong believer in and facilitator of the empowerment and connectedness of women of color.
