🌀Hurricane Ian Instagram Live: Today I’m going live at 11am to discuss the aftermath of #hurricaneian. The question I’ve been asked the most is, “won’t their insurance cover everything?” After talking to many locals on #fortmyersbeach I learned that a lot of people aren’t covered properly. I called Erik after a few hours being down there and told him to call our insurance guy and update our policy immediately. Between stories of FEMA and insurance rejections, I knew I wanted to educate myself more. @jgriffinmorrow is going to join me on the live to answer some specific insurance questions that I think could really help all of you. It was heartbreaking to see the destruction firsthand and to know these people truly lost everything. Debris littered the beaches, smashed boats were everywhere and buildings I knew & loved had vanished completely. When you see the devastation, you really wonder how will they ever rebuild?
