cookies & cream cinnamon rolls!✨🤍🍞🖤 recipe: chocolate oreo filling: - 1/2 cup brown sugar (100 grams) - 2 tbsp cocoa powder (12 grams) - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (56 grams) - 1/2 cup crushed oreos (50 grams) dough: - 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (plus up to an additional 1/2 cup) (440g-500g) - 2 tsp or 1 packet instant dry yeast (7 grams) - 1 tsp salt - 1 cup milk (240 grams) - 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100 grams) - 1/4 cup unsalted butter (56 grams) - 1 large egg (56 grams) - 1/2 cup crushed oreos (50 grams) vanilla glaze: - 2 tbsp butter - 2 cups powdered sugar (240 grams) - 2 tsp vanilla - 4 tsp milk directions: - for the chocolate oreo filling, mix together brown sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside! - for the dough, in a stand mixer combine flour, instant dry yeast, and salt and mix together! - in a separate bowl, add milk, softened butter, and granulated sugar and microwave for 60-90 seconds, until the butter is melted, then stir to combine! - add in the warm milk mixture into the flour mixture and mix on medium speed with a dough hook until the dough comes together! - then add in the egg and mix on a low speed until a sticky dough ball forms, continue to mix on a medium low speed for 2-3 minutes, until the dough forms together! - as the dough mixes, add in additional flour 1 tbsp at a time until the dough begins to leave the sides of the bowl, you should be able to poke the dough and have no residue on your finger! - next, mix in crushed oreos until the oreos are incorporated throughout the dough! - add the dough to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap and set aside to let the dough to rest for 10 minutes! - generously flour your counter and roll your dough ball into a large rectangle that's 12 inches x 18 inches, also being about 1/2 cm thick! - spread the 1/4 cup of softened butter over the dough and then sprinkle the cinnamon roll filling evenly over the buttered area, and top with the crushed oreos! - tightly roll the dough horizontally and cut the dough log into 9 equal pieces with dental floss and place in a greased square pan! - cover the cinnamon roll pan with plastic wrap and place in a warm place for 30 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls have risen! - finally, preheat you oven to 350°F and bake the cinnamon rolls for 24-30 minutes! - when they’re almost done baking, make the vanilla glaze by melting the butter in a small bowl, then adding in the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk and mix until very smooth and combined! - once the cinnamon are out of the oven, wait about 5-10 and then add the icing on top and add some extra oreo pieces on top! serve warm and enjoy!! #oreocinnamonrolls#cookiesandcream#oreos#cinnamonrolls#homemadecinnamonrolls#cinnamonrollrecipe#baking#recipe#fyp#FYP
