i’ll be sharing BTS for some days to come of certain set ups and our team 💚 the flower set up was one of my favorite - it was designed by @elcreativo.la who i was so lucky to find. juan helped keep the vision pure and simple enough for what was going to be an extremely busy and fast moving day. the set up was exactly what i imagined based on what amelia described inspired the lyric. @steadimandan got beautiful steadicam motion of this shot. and i always like to shoot the analog portions of the videos i make, and on this video i split responsibility throughout with @erickturquoise using his ARRI SR-3 which was a bit heavy for me to get used to haha and @danieleverettpatrick. however for this set up i was so excited to go to town on shooting amelia! over the years i have a tendency to take my shoes off when i want a really specific shot, and tend to contort or lie on the ground or get very low to be able to have the mobility i want for the shot. shooting to me feels like dancing (i also got into making music videos first as a dancer!) - and film can be quite acrobatic. sometimes you just gotta do what you have to do so you can feel comfortable. although i don’t advise shooting in socks unless you’re on the ground sitting or if you’re in studio filming a session and need to be quiet. bts by @danieltopete
