Stop letting the older generations tell you that not cutting your hair makes it grow! (Among all the other old wives tales we have in our community) I really think this idea came as a solution to hair trauma that was experienced. Not ever receiving a haircut that was just a trim, causing fear that hair will always be cut too short. There is no evidence that not trimming your ends makes your hair grow longer or faster, but there is evidence showing breakage, & thin hair from not having your hair trimmed. Would you rather have long thin wispy ends, or full healthy hair? It’s healthy hair for me 🙋🏾‍♀️
