Meet Frog, the platypus. 👋⁠ ⁠ Frog arrived to our partners at @bonorong after a member of the public found him in their kitchen; a very unusual place for a platypus to be! ⁠ ⁠ The IFAW vet team gave him a thorough health check, including physical examinations, X-rays and blood tests. 🩺 Fortunately, nothing abnormal showed up in any of the tests so the team concluded that Frog was likely to be a newly dispersed juvenile finding his way to a new territory and got a bit lost in the process. After a day of expert care, Frog was released #BackToTheWild, into a stream nearby the initial rescue location. Good luck Frog! 💙⁠ ⁠ Photo: Matthew Clement
