Masanori Hosoya has been appointed as general manager for Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Bringing over two decades of hospitality experience to the role and over 16 years with The Ritz-Carlton brand, Masa will oversee all operations and the resort’s business strategy for Mandapa – the third bespoke resort in the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Reserve portfolio and the award-winning property in Ubud, Bali. Masa has spent most of his time in the luxury properties within Marriott International and brought a deep understanding of the Ritz-Carlton brand from Spain and Japan. Prior to joining Mandapa, Masa served as general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko in Japan where he spearheaded the hotel’s opening in July 2020.
