You have no idea what this moment means to me...but indulge me for a second. A few weeks ago these images were posted on Lafayette & Canal and I didn’t get to see in person, but it was amazing to see the images and receive the love and support when I shared on my stories (TY❣️). I meant to post on my feed so they would live forever and never got a chance to. Yesterday, these images were put up on 72nd and 2nd, across from my uncle’s old building. Today I am overcome with emotion because if Uncle Nat were still here, he could walk outside and say “Chile, it’s you! I can hear him now. It’s an understatement to say how much I miss him, but I am grateful for the memories and the time spent. Thank you @stillherenewyork for including me in this campaign. My Uncle Nat was one of the coolest people I know, and I know he’d think this campaign is too. 🤍👖 Friends go visit the new Still Here store on Madison & 72nd! P.S - the sweet lady in the photo recognized me as I was taking pictures and said I looked even more beautiful in person than my photo. I hope these photos remain in tact to take Mom in person this weekend 🤞🏾 they’ve already been partially covered 🙃.
