This day last year was the start of the hardest and ugliest chapter of my life thus far. I was so miserable, unhappy, and hated myself and my circumstances. I withdrew from everyone and stopped working out & taking care of myself, physically and mentally. Shoutout to my friends and family for picking me up and giving me the push to get it together. I started with @bodybyyasfitness and made the decision, across all aspects of my life, to stop settling, selling myself short and disrespecting myself by not being my own number 1 fan and champion. I did @bodybyyasfitness for 4 months and connected with @yaslenxoxo & a huge squad of beautiful, motivating, supportive #gymgirls Yas mentioned I should consider competing in @wbffentertainment and got me with my amazing coaches @carolinedecampos @tjhoban & teammates @legendary.bodies I got back in the gym, prepped and competed in my first show, earned my pro card and now 2 months post show - I’m sticking to my reverse diet and building this body and mind for what’s to come next.
