Moyo: I am excited to see how lived-in colors and extensions continue to evolve. They will always be in style but I love how creative we’ve gotten with balayage and extensions. From bolder money pieces and stronger contrast to fun colored extensions. SL: How have you made your Loft your own? Moyo: I designed my Loft in a way that reflects who I am, simple and unique. I was sure to make it functional without over-crowding my space. I had to have a coffee maker, because if you know me you know I love my coffee :) SL: What advice would you give Beauty Professionals who want to open their own business? Moyo: My first advice is to write down your ‘why’. This is really important because it allows you to identify your goals and come up with a great business plan both short and long-term. If you’re currently in a commission salon, understand that deciding to go out on your own doesn’t make you a bad person. Leave the guilt behind, it hinders your potential. Focus.
