This is the time of year that Dartmoor truly comes in to its own for me 🌲 The leaves are just starting to turn but give it another few weeks and the landscape will be vibrant with autumn colours 🍂🍁 Now I live so close to the coast, the moors feel like more of a weekend activity and this is what I loved about the walk I did on Saturday, no time pressures, just see where the walk takes you. I did the circular walk around Burrator Reservoir, but the skyline version, incorporating Sheepstor and Leather Tor as well for those views 😍 We started at Sheepstor and parked there (although there are other places you could start), and I’d say it was around 4.5 miles of woodland, views, streams and scrambling 💛🥾perfect!
