⚠️WE LOVE THIS TURTLE RESCUE!⚠️ How great is this video of a rehabbed giant male Loggerhead turtle in Belize, which has now been fitted with a satellite tag by the great charity @maralliance that specializes in rescue/rehab operations like this in order to improve the conservation of threatened marine species like sharks, rays and turtles?!? Loggerhead turtles are protected under the Endangered Species Act as their population is estimated to only be around 50,000, whereas the species once numbered several million throughout the world's oceans, exemplifying how 6 of the 7 species of sea turtles are either threatened or endangered due to climate change and human activity.
