It was actually so hard for me to take a vacation this year. I want so many things out of this life that I tend to pack my schedule to the brim with work and am not afraid to hustle and push when I have a vision in mind. My life the past 6 months has been a juggling act where the things I’m juggling (My own business, my dance career, my relationships, building the life I dream!) have just continued to get heavier and heavier, and not in a bad way, but in a significance way. Each of these things matters more to me than they ever have because my capacity of love for each thing has deepened, and because of this the stakes feel so much higher. I’ve been juggling and juggling and so afraid to put any of it down for a second because I don’t want to mess any of it up. I keep spinning because my heart is in all of it, and I so desperately want to do the best job at everything all the time, because I care. I want to be there for anyone that needs me. I want to sacrifice my time and sleep for the people and things that I love. But one of my biggest lessons in life this far is that you can’t pour from an empty cup, and you can’t set yourself on fire to keep other things warm. Because at the end of the day, all you have is you and the way you radiate to the world, and if you’re empty, the people you love will feel it, your business will feel it, your work will feel it, and most importantly YOU will feel it. So I made a point to commit to vacation, and @nate_the_great15 and I had the best time together exploring Maui for the first time. One day we snorkeled in a crater with a goddamn red pool noodle and saw sea turtles and fishies and I felt like we were little kids just enjoying the ocean; diving all around, pointing to things we saw and talking to each other through snorkels 😂 Multiple pure moments like that reminded me that life is gonna life, people are gonna people, and at the end of the day we are just small little beings just doing the best we can, and all we have is now. ♥️♥️♥️♥️ #maui #mauihawaii #travel #vacation #yolo
