A Black woman in active labor was left screaming in a waiting room for more than 30 minutes @dallasregionalmedicalcenter Twelve minutes later, her baby was born. This is not a “one-off incident.” This is the pattern. This is the system working exactly as it was built. And we are BEYOND angered at birthFUND — because we refuse to normalize the neglect of Black and Brown mothers. Refuse to let this be another story buried under the weight of “business as usual.” Black women are not invisible. Black pain is not invisible. Black births should not be battlegrounds.
