We had a very gentle and sweet at home send off for Hemingway just before his 10th birthday. Time stood still for a day of steak cooked in bacon grease, sun lounging, tender cuddles and lots of love from his family. There will never be another love like yours, sweet baby Hemi. I will forever treasure your soulful howls, pillow forts, body contouring snuggles, tap dancing nails on the hardwood floors, unusual fondness of eating tiny things and from tiny bowls, active dreaming, cartoon snoring and empathic knack for comforting me.
