When we first started working together in 2019, Parker weighed around 165#.
Well, heβs grown a bit since then and now heβs wrestling at heavyweight - 244# π€―π₯π!
When he first expressed his goals of wanting to move up a few weight classes, the first thing that ran through my head was, βWe need to add MUSCLE, not fat. And, he needs to be able to USE that muscle in versatile ways when he competes.β
Parker never misses training days. One of the hardest working, and most dedicated athletes Iβve ever had the privilege to work with. THIS KID IS A BEAST, and he wants to WIN π¦ π₯.
Most of his workouts are VERY heavy and VERY uncomfortable, but there are a few rules we stick by...
1. Donβt get injured π―
2. Healthy foods to gain weight. π₯©ππ₯¬
3. Be vocal about how you feel. πͺ«
This guy has basically shattered all of his previous strength numbers without ever testing 1RMs. He just sticks to his laid out progressions, and now heβs repping out old PRs.
The results have been amazing! Parker just committed to wrestling at Virginia Tech once he graduates!! π¦
He now has much bigger goals of training for D1 competition and beyond ππΌπ₯.
