Minor studio build update: Sleek and fresh cabinets and external filters for my Amadeus Icon monitors. Everything sounds wider, tighter and deeper now, and we managed better integration with the subs and room. The Icons are a DAT kit speaker that was popular in the 90s in Copenhagen and with a few tweaks they hold up great today. Going DIY has both been very educational and troublesome, but I do like the very organic and relaxed sound you get from a passive system and it is really nice to get incremental improvements when I tweak things or change components like this. It's easy to adapt to changes that way and it's definitely nice to be able to fix things quickly. #diyaudio #masteringstudio #studiobuild #greatsound
