Welcome to THE SISTERHOOD! @ladoublej’s newest community circle dedicated to all things that raise not only your vibration, but also your consciousness as a human being. We kicked off our 1st event in NY with my Co-pilot in all things sisterly, @maureen.chiquet. We gathered a group of outstanding professional women in the city- all of them entrepreneurs or occupying the C-suite of big global brands. The conversation was: what are the key principles of the DIVINE FEMININE and how can we as women and way showers, start to weave them into corporate environments? As we do this, we don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water: we keep the healthy aspects of the masculine energetic that have served us in getting where we are today (action, organization, logic, protection, perseverance, assertion, using our voices, etc) but we dump out all of the toxic masculine that has calcified inside the bones of most businesses as a hold over from distorted patriarchal values (control, criticism, punishment, demands, blind ambition/competition, rigidity, an over reliance on the mind, proof, etc). And then we start to balance the magic of the feminine which waltzes in with a wiff of mystery, allowing us to feel our feelings, make heart based decisions and use the wisdom of our bellies and intuition in making key decisions at work and life. Many of us have been conditioned to believe the feminine energetic’s softness and openness is a liability- something that will be trampled, taken advantage of or killed. In reality our shared vulnerability as human beings is what keeps us connected, and it is this state of receptivity that is where all the good new stuff gets created and birthed. Whether you’re a man or a woman it doesn’t matter. This is not a gender issue it’s a spirit issue. We all possess these energetic aspects and it’s up to us to see what parts of them are healthy and vibrant (ie divine) and what parts are dense and distorted. It’s up to us to see what areas we need to cultivate more in ourselves and then to share this with everyone we meet: from our employees and colleagues to family friends and communities at large. This is how the narrative begins to change❤️💎🔮
