This is Piper. She’s the sweetest. I adopted her about two months ago when she was ten months. I wanted her to be a companion to our resident cat Tito. I did ALL the research you could do on introducing a new cat to a resident cat. I even brought in a cat behavioralist to help me build a plan to help them along. But nothing seemed to work. She would sneak out of her home base, and when she saw our other cat Tito, she would attack him viciously. Now our other cat is miserable and stuck in our office. It’s been about two months, and it’s not getting better. She NEEDS to be in a single-cat home. I don’t know her entire history, but I think she was separated from her litter too soon and was attacked by other cats. That being said, she is SO SO sweet to humans. She loves cuddling and has the best personality. I work from home, and she’ll lie on the desk beside me all day. She has a lot of energy and loves to play! She’s already great with a harness, so she could be a potential adventure cat! It breaks my heart to re-home her, but I want to do what’s best for both cats.
