It’s been 7 years from the early days of Apartment Bartender living in the original Apartment with the red door learning how to mix drinks for me and my roomie at the time (the day 1’s remember). And now I’m a whole family man livin’ in the ‘burbs, mixing up baby bottles & smoothies for my little boy, and sippin’ some cognac after he goes to bed 🥃 I don’t know in what chapter of this journey you joined, but I wanted to stop and just say thank you 🙏🏽 Thank you for all your support, and your positivity along the way. On the other side of the content you see is a real person experiencing all of life, and learning how to navigate it just like you... maybe just with an old fashioned in hand 😌 Also, I thought I’d take a moment to re-introduce myself a bit, and share some little facts about me... • I’m Elliott 👋🏽 My friends say I’m special because I’m a wee bit particular about how I spell my name. Don’t let my mama catch you spelling my name with one T 😂 • I’m Chicago born, and Phoenix raised, and now reside just outside of Denver with my little family ❤️ (@alejandrabarronr_) • My father is Black & my mom is Mexican. When my brother and I were little, my uncle called us “Soul Tamales” and it stuck ever since 🫔 Being multicultural is something I take a lot of pride in. • An old fashioned is my absolute go-to drink. Swap out the bourbon for cognac and you have the way to my heart 🥃 • Elijah’s curls inspired me to grow mine back. Also, someone told me I should grow my hair back before I can’t anymore and that hit different 😂 It’s been 14 years since I had my curls. • Outside of drink photography, I love capturing beautiful interior spaces.
