It's by Charlotte Kent @lucyscribbles - a brilliant 🧠 writer who often writes about absurdity and blockchain tech. You can read the text through my bio and in the link below. Donna Haraway wrote in Staying with the Trouble (2016) about how, in urgent times, we're tempted to address trouble by making an imaginary future safe. But projections of the future are often based on past experience and don't address the situation we're in. For an artist like Rosie Gibbens, the absurd is a tactic. It doesn't posit solutions but accepts unknowing as the basis from which something novel may emerge.
