ME X @wmag 🎊 Multidisciplinary artist Nick Cave (@nickcaveart) has been blending the worlds of art, fashion, and dance for decades. Now, his adopted city of Chicago is honoring him with a series of museum shows and vibrant performances But these events add up to more than just a celebration of the 63-year-old artist-Cave sees this as a moment to spotlight the collaborators and supporters who make his practice possible. Cave brought W into his studio to meet the mix of Chicagoans that have all played a part in his work, as well as the two most important men in his life: Jack Cave, his brother; and Bob Faust, his romantic and creative partner of over a decade, both of whom contributed significantly to this month's exhibitions at the @mcachicago, the @dusablemusuem and more.
