Early voting for the midterm elections started today in Maryland and WAMU/DCist Maryland Reporter Callan Tansill-Suddath has some last-minute tips for voters in the Old Line State.
Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day until Nov. 3. Looking to vote by mail? You have until Nov. 1st to request your ballot. Also, Maryland allows for same-day registration during early in-person voting provided you bring an ID.
This year it’s key to remember that your congressional, General Assembly, council districts — and even your polling place — may have changed due to recent redistricting. So make sure to double-check with the state’s Board of Elections before heading to the polls!
