Skincare Sunday I had my first Dermaplaning Facial done by @merou_glamour. She started off by double cleansing and exfoliating my skin to prepare for dermaplaning. *Dermaplaning: This treatment uses a professional blade to scrape away the top layer of dead skin and peach fuzz which will encourage deeper product penetration. You will see an improvement in texture, fine lines, congestion, hyper pigmentation and the overall clarity of the skin. Don’t worry the hair will not grow back thicker. Peach fuzz which is also know as "vellus hair" will not turn into coarse hair also known as “terminal hair” after dermaplanning because the follicle is not stimulated due to the blade being so sharp. (Treatment can be done once a month) The brightening jelly mask felt amazing going on as I am sure you can tell by the video. The whole process was so relaxing and the massage was just the icing on the cake. She finished of with some moisturizer and sunscreen to keep the skin protected. I had to wait to the next morning to wash my face and when I tell you it felt absolutely amazing. I followed with my regular skincare routine and the way the products absorbed and the glow of my skin was just beautiful.
