Dear heart, Just because you are hurting, it does not mean you aren’t strong. I feel you fighting for me with every palpitation, every ectopic beat, every murmur, every ache and every uneven rhythm. Despite it all, despite ten years of this, you keep beating and glowing and shining and fighting. Lyme is multifaceted, tethered in so many directions, with roots so deep in every crevice of my body. Although running parallel to my physical form is my energetic heart, my aura, my resilience, my soul. She shines so brightly, so warmly, like the morning sun. Melting away the fear, and illuminating a path of trust. This is the path I follow. I trust in the bees, the healing I am calling in, the nourishment I fill my body with and the medicine within my own skin. Healing is possible. I hold that in my heart.
