The museum exhibited Albin Polasek's "The Sower" (1915) on the steps at Michigan Avenue before it eventually arrived at the Chicago Botanic Garden (@chicagobotanic) as a gift of the Art Institute. The seven-foot-tall bronze statue can still be seen on view there today.
