You cannot trust other people with your dreams and visions for your life. They will give you every reason why you shouldn’t pursue the best parts of why you’re hear on this planet. They will discourage you, judge you, abandon you, but this is all for learning and growing. If you really want something, these moments are considered opportunities to expand. Every single one of us has the capacity to evolve and expand and I will say, it is our duty to explore that light. At the end of the day, have you learned to love yourself? Because in that growth, you will learn to give zero fux and your confidence will be a light for others to explore the same. Whenever things get jumbled in my head, I’ll pause and ask myself, do I have food on the table, do I have a roof over my head, have I expressed kindness to myself. Have I completed the basic tasks of living, like brushed my teeth, washed my face, have I eaten a very simple healthy meal, have I received a genuine hug or given a genuine hug to the closest people to me? If I can’t check those off, I’m suffering. So, I focus on the small things and enjoy them, to unscramble my brain.
