I spent last week escaping the heatwave to paint in the mezzanine level entranceway of The Desmond, a new restaurant by chef @jason_neroni of @therosevenice inside downtown San Diego’s new @stay.alma hotel! While oblivious to the hurricane outside, I painted this abstraction of the restaurant’s farm to table roots and fresh, local ingredients. To finish the mural, I’ll be enjoying the air conditioning once again and adding metallic gold accents to make it pop. Stay cool, everyone and stay tuned!
