And to fly. To FLY. ......... I invite you to try the Haleakalā Challenge. In 2018 @therealbrianhicks and I climbed the volcano in Maui called Haleakalā It is 37.5 miles covering 100023 feet of elevation at an average grade of about 7% Everything about it makes you want to quit- AND NOT QUIT. We did it. We did it together. And it made us know ourselves and each other in profound ways. We did not do it for view at the top. We did it to change our view of ourselves and what is possible. In the spirit of celebrating that we can all do hard things, o give you this. These five 60 minute climbs follow our ride in cadence and intensity, every pedal stroke along the way. Ride with us. Whether you space them out or do them all in a day- doesn’t matter. Just ride the damn bike.
