Scott and I have started going on a little getaway at the beginning of each year and it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite things! We book somewhere we know we can relax and regroup after a very busy Q4. It gives us a chance to reflect on the last year, we make plans and goals for the current year, go over financials, and discuss how we can meet our kid’s needs as well as each other’s. This is something we can easily do at home but something about 3 days uninterrupted is good for the soul (and marriage)☀️🌊❣️
