People often say a year flies by, but I think time is generally very fair. 2025 was a long year, a big year for me, and a wild one. I’m grateful to have started the year getting promoted, then I later married the love of my life. I maintained a long-distance relationship, gave my all to my career (and even won an award from my company for my performance), traveled to five countries, and continued to build my friendships, which I cherish and am so proud of. I posted on social media a lot less and lived my life as fully as I could.
I am tremendously grateful for everything and everyone in my life. But I also don’t want to downplay the work I put into myself, my relationship, my friendships, and my career, and—let’s be real—even my outfits. I’ve been in therapy for over three years, have been holding hands with grief for years too, and am doing what I can to be a light to others—to carry my brother’s torch as well as I can. I worked and worked and worked in 2025, in different ways but every day. I expect 2026 to be more work, but beautiful things come from those who care, apply themselves, and have patience and faith that effort in meaningful pursuits is always worth it.
2025 was weird, wonderful, sometimes sad, but also joyful beyond words. It was full-bodied and very human. I’m so thankful to have had this year and to have learned all I have from it. Wishing you all a peaceful close to the year and a 2026 full of beauty and if we’re lucky, tranquility. ❤️ Swipe for highlights, a couple outfits I loved, and pics.
