Here's how we usually break it down for our patients 👇 The most balanced snack is a protein and a fruit or veggie. ✨ Protein = satiety + focus ✨ Produce = fiber, vitamins, minerals It's simple, evidence-based, and super easy for patients to remember. However, there are some patient-friendly snack combos that are quick and easy to prep, on top of being super tasty and effective! 🍎 Apple slices and PB are always a hit! 🫐 Cottage cheese and mixed berries are yummy and easy to make 🥕 Carrot sticks and hummus. Enough said 🥜 Trail mix and veggies - hold the M&M's As Registered Dietitians, part of our role is showing patients that healthy living doesn't have to be boring or even complicated.
