I’m proud of us + our students 💝 Today we ended our year long embodied work with trainee psychologists, on deconstructing the lies of whiteness. We’ve been leading ‘Brave + Compassionate Spaces’ at a University, where psychologists are working in affinity spaces (separate white and global majority) and integrated spaces around this. Grateful to my loving friends+co-facilitators @awatintegra and @eyes_of_daniel for being the grounding and growing triad to this work. We’ve sought to sow the seeds of love, embodiment and disruption the academic space. This work has been hugely shaped by bell hooks. also, is anyone else at @bradfordlitfest next week? Hit me up.
