Meet our partners, @Katalyst.Kitchens. Katalyst Kitchens area a Moldovan charity and a food business incubator, that has delivered an extraordinary rapid community response. As thousands of people fled Ukraine this February, Katalyst Kitchens were able to set up and distribute essential food items immediately. Their food boxes have fresh fruit and vegetables, pasta, lentils, tea and potatoes, all procured from farmers in the region to support the local economy. In order to mobilise quickly to help Ukrainian people seeking safety in Moldova, they teamed up with another of our partners, Global Medic, and other organisations working in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau. Since then, they have continued their incredible work, delivering half a million pounds of food since the start of the conflict. 20 tonnes of food is being distributed every week to thousands of Ukrainian families both in Chisinau and in rural areas around the city.
