From the moment we send an order into the dyehouse and atelier it takes around 6 months for it to be made. That’s not because they’re making things for lots of brands, it’s pretty much just us. Everything is high effort, but slow and methodical. There are shortcuts. We could machine embroider here for example but that not only removes craft and work, it leaves no spirit. No evidence a human interacted. We call this “evidence of the hand”. This little snapshot was taken when we visited a few months ago.
