On Friday night we colonized an amazing Villa in Milan for an all day company offsite and holiday party unlike any other! Although the first half of this work gathering was meant to be strategic, analytic and number based, we started the proceedings in a circle, with 65 full time employees sitting down on the antique carpet and grounding ourselves into the whole family unit that we are. As we grow and our office space gets more and more fragmented it’s so important for everyone who works at @ladoublej to unify into the power of the whole. To feel that connection of oneness, shared vision and above all support, nurturing and appreciation. I talked a lot about my vision for this company: We are in the business of Joy and our mission is to Raise Your Vibration. It starts at home right here in Milano—- creating an environment that balances healthy masculine and feminine energies, as well as squeezing out the very best of Italian values (heart based, high quality, passionate & empathic) and the very best of American values (organized! Anything is possible, never taking no for an answer) as we go about creating a company unlike any other. This was a gratitude day and a celebration day of every incredible human being, pair of hands, sets of eyes and beating heart that makes this company into the force of nature that it is. I honor our mission and this remarkable group who makes it happen! I bow to them! I love them! I am filled with gratitude for each of them. And I want to dance like a pazza all night with them- as we did! Special thanks to Alice who received the first annual Doublej Joy Award.
