You may have noticed we've been a little quiet on here since our album came out. Sorry for our silence. It's been a bit of a strange time... As you might know, we last minute had to delay our 22 Make album release from July to October because the vinyl wasn't ready, despite us handing in the album at the start of the year. Not our fault, not our plan, but how could we tour record stores without a record? So we delayed it with some hope that the vinyl sales might contribute to a decent UK chart position as our previous albums did. Not our dream, not our need. But we complied. And we had a TRULY beautiful week of shows meeting you all. It was the best bit of our month. But then we found out 3 days after release that the chart company considered the double album of 22 Break/Make as an entirely separate album to 22 Make. No one checked, no one knew. So we ended up with 2 separate albums, no combined sales. No chart position. No point in delaying it. This isn't a complaint, just an explanation. In fact, this thoroughly shitty experience has shown us that LIFE is more important than your job. So Ant has been in India for 2 weeks with his brother having a beautiful experience in the mountains. I have been at home, getting my nails done, going to my best friend's wedding, cuddling babies, eating, relaxing, raving, thinking, having therapy, walking in the park, writing lots of songs, staring at animals, seeing beauty everywhere. You can't control life, but you can control your reaction to it ❤️
