Have you seen the new @ofarevolution music video that I directed and produced?! A little back story on this sequence. Over ten years ago I was going on a hike in the south of France with my dad and his bestie. Long story short, I fainted, and while I was unconscious I had one of the most vivid lucid dreams I’ve ever experienced. I was on a swing set and when I hit the apex of swinging I was suddenly slingshotted into outer space. Swinging from earth and skyrocketing back and forth to outer space. I told @marcroberge about this dream in our initial meeting, and much to my surprise and delight, he exclaimed that he had had THE SAME LUCID DREAM. What?! I always wanted to adapt this experience into a music video, and so of course this was the project to do it! I built the swing in my backyard with the help of @wdnsdyadams and @joshweinhaus built a green screen studio around it. @jccruznyc was able to bring in his wizardry and bring this world to life. @jamesonmangan was then able to blend all these elements and integrate them into our psychedelic space. Shout out to the space ship and space kitty that Jameson so kindly added after my incessant pestering for a space cat haha. The question remained in how do we introduce this world, and here comes my girl @lean_beanss. She had the brilliant idea of making these sunnies. He puts on his sour patch colored glasses and POOF! Astral projection 💫 Last, and most certainly not least, can we get a round of applause for @feitelberg 👏 This stud came to my (swing) set and went FULL OUT, swinging joyously from my rafters. He went so hard that he not only tested the structural integrity of the swing, but also bruised the sh*t out of his biceps in the process. Thank you John for giving your 💯 to literally every single take. You’re a got damn champ! It takes a village to make these concepts a reality, and I’m beyond grateful for everyone’s painstaking hard work and artistry. What a joy to hang out and make dope art!
