A few nights ago, @tinabroadway re-opening night. It had been 19 months since our last performance, it felt so special to be back on that stage with so many people I love. ... It was a particularly moving, emotional and often difficult night for me - my dear mom passed away 2 weeks ago, and saying goodbye to her a few days earlier has been the most difficult challenge I’ve ever experienced. I wish I could have told her about this important night getting back on stage. It was a mix of the brightest joy and of the deepest sadness. I know she’s eternally proud. ... Music heals, it has always saved me and I trust it will save me again. I am so grateful for my wife @katiewebbernyc for such support during this time, for being my rock every step of the way, I love you. . . Now let’s continue to make music
