My latest portrait for this raven-haired, South African beauty, Anelle from @alistinteriors . I've photographed Anelle and her lovely projects many times and I think this latest portrait of her is my favorite. One of the absolute best parts of getting to photograph the same person over the span of multiple years is you really get to develop a closeness and comfort level that does assist in the creating a photographic likeness of someone. Each time, a layer comes off and, though it's likely still not the most comfortable to get your picture taken, it becomes a conversation rather than me clicking the shutter and doing all my monkey tricks to get people relaxed and out of their heads. I truly LOVE shooting for Anelle. She is an absolute gem and a joy to photograph for. I count myself lucky every time I hear from her. There have been a few occasions this year where I had some unfortunate experiences and Anelle was on my calendar and it was like coming up for air. Not only are our shoots so much fun, especially when it's with stylist @francesfinds , but I've really enjoyed getting to know Anelle on a personal level. You know, over the years, I have noticed certain personality traits from my most revered clients and it's no surprise to me that Anelle's company is called A-List Interiors because she embodies all of those qualities.
