Have you ever taken a food sensitivity test and cut out tons of different foods based on the results? Share below 👇

While it would be really simple and nice if all it took was a simple test to identify dietary triggers, the science really isn’t there to support these tests.
⚠️At best, people often end up cutting out multiple foods and feeling better because it’s like casting a really large net and trapping a few fish 🐠 but you likely didn’t need to eliminate all of those foods
⚠️At worst, it can trigger food fears, disordered eating, eating disorders, create nutrient deficiencies, worsen quality of life and worsen gut health - because our microbes 🦠 and our bodies need diversity within the diet
.
.
These tests are often expensive 💰 and come with pages reporting on “food sensitivities” and no intervention or plan beyond eliminating those foods 🆘 Plus, these tests are not validated and all major governing organizations, such as the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, strongly recommend against these tests.

I get it - your GI symptoms can be downright debilitating and you want to try anything you can to feel better 💔but working with a credible professional will get you the results you want (no more bloating, pain, cramping, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, etc.) while looking at the whole picture and recommending interventions that are suitable for YOU and your needs 💕
