At the UConn Center for Advancement in Managing Pain (CAMP), researchers study pain across the lifespan and determine effective treatments. CAMP Director Dr. Steven G. Kinsey’s lab is conducting cutting-edge research on cannabinoids, which are able to decrease our capacity to process pain in the brain while having less abuse potential than that of opioids.
