Looking for a Greek feast in Anchorage? Then you need to check out Meraki Hellenic Grill! This restaurant was originally in Eagle River, but shut down during the height of the pandemic. They reopened a few months ago in East Anchorage bringing back favorites like the yerro, halloumi, Greek salad & kebabs. They’ve also expanded their menu to include some delicious specials, and rotating desserts. Currently this business shares a kitchen & space with That Wing Place on Boniface, but you are able to dine in as well as order to go (907-231-2866).
We don’t have many traditional Greek or Mediterranean options in Anchorage, but Meraki definitely shines regardless. The food we was made fresh to order, and the portions were plentiful! The mixed plate I order was for 1 person, but they also offer a 2 person option with even more delicious food. The octopus was probably my favorite new item on the menu. It had a nice char, and was cooked perfectly! The desserts were delicious, and a great new addition to the menu. If you have a craving for Greek food definitely give Meraki a try!
